Lifeline.
Gloucester outhalf Danny Cipriani is set to be handed a Rugby World Cup lifeline by England boss Eddie Jones, according to a report by Sky Sports News.
The 31-year-old talisman will link up with the 28 players already training with the national squad this weekend as he looks to book a seat on the plane to Japan later this year.
Cipriani was recently named Premiership Player of the Year, but has been overlooked by Jones in recent squads, earning his last cap against South Africa in November of last year.
Jones has only included Cipriani in two of his squads since taking charge in 2015, but with the former Wasps man in the form of hid career – it’s become impossible to overlook him.
