Best in Europe.
Saracens fullback Alex Goode has been named European Player of the Year 2018 after a stellar season for his club.
Goode was instrumental as Saracens claimed their third European crown against Leinster this afternoon in a bruising 20-10 win over the defending champions.
The 31-year-old interestingly joins the likes of Steffon Armitage and Nick Abendanon in being overlooked by England, despite being named the best player in Europe.
Your #EPOTY2019 is…🥁@Saracens stalwart @Alex_goode0 👏
