Out of contract.
Pat Lam’s Bristol have entered the race to sign Wales and Ospreys lock Alun Wyn Jones ahead of next season, according to a report in The Rugby Paper.
The English Premiership big spenders are said to be keen to make a “big-name” signing and have set their sights in the Wales captain who is out of contract after the Rugby World Cup.
Ospreys are said to be keen to retain his services, but the 33-year-old could very well be tempted to cash in on a big-money move as he enter the twilight of his career.
Jones is still regarded as one of the best locks in the world and would be a fantastic addition to any side on his leadership and experience alone. Leicester Tigers have also been linked with the British and Irish Lions veteran.
