Brawl for all.
England head coach Eddie Jones was forced to axe both Ben Te’o and Mike Brown from his squad this week following an altercation between the two.
According to The Times, the incident between the players erupted during one of the social events that were organised by England management to help the squad “bond and get closer as a team” during their 12-day camp in Treviso.
Both players were excluded from the final week of training before Jones names his 31-man World Cup squad on Monday, and will not feature against Wales this Sunday.
This is the second time Te’o has been in hot water with England management this year following a drinking incident with Billy Vunipola back in March. Both players now look unlikely to make Jones’ World Cup squad, but the RFU say they “remain in contention.”
