Servant.
Ireland gave half-centurion CJ Stander the perfect send-off this evening with a massive win over England in the final round of the Six Nations.
Tries from Keith Earls and Jack Conan and a number of kicks from captain Johnny Sexton ensured a 32-18 win for the men in green.
Stander announced earlier this week that he will be retiring from all forms of rugby at the of the season due to family reasons, sending shockwaves across the world of rugby.
And what a way to go out. The number eight was pictured after the game on the phone (presumably to his family) unable to control his emotions and nearly in tears as his amazing journey in the green of Ireland came to an end.
Thank you, CJ.
This is the answer to the 🤡🤡🤡 who doubted CJ Stander’s commitment- we’ll miss him so much in the @Munsterrugby red and green of Ireland ❤️CJ pic.twitter.com/ahx7aiTo9F
