Donncha O’Callaghan isn’t ready to retire yet.
Former Munster and Ireland legend Donnacha O’Callaghan is set to continue his playing career in France next season according to reports in Midi Olympique.
The former British & Irish Lions lock, who spent 17 years at Munster, amassing an astonishing 268 caps, has been plying his trade in England for the last couple of seasons with the Worcester Warriors.
He left Munster in search of more game time as he felt he still had something to offer and has become a regular for the English side. O’Callaghan could be set to join French side Narbonne in the PRO D2.
He’s alleged to have met the club’s manager, and while Narbonne aren’t one of your typical rich French clubs, is reportedly willing to make sacrifices to join the club as favour to his mate, Huia Edmonds. Fair play!
