Massive blow.
British and Irish Lions captain Alun Wyn Jones could be forced to pull out of the squad before even boarding the plane to South Africa after the lock went down with an arm injury just seven minutes into their clash with Japan.
The skipper got his arm in an awkward position while competing at the breakdown and immediately dropped to his knee in pain, holding his arm.
He received attention and it was decided he had to come off, with England’s Courtney Lawes replacing him.
His face said it all when it came off. A possible fracture? As soon as we know more we will update you.
UPDATE: Channel 4 are reporting that Jones has picked up a suspected dislocated shoulder.
