This is hilarious.
Munster prop Dave Kilcoyne recently did a Q&A with Munster that was featured in the match programme for the game against Racing 92 in the Champions Cup yesterday evening.
The Limerick man started on the bench yesterday in Thomond Park, but was sprung into action early due to an injury to James Cronin. The loosehead came on and played an absolute stormer, posing the question to Rassie Erasmus as to why he didn’t start to begin with.
Kilcoyne has enjoyed one of his best seasons in years this campaign, playing the kind of rugby that saw him called into Joe Schmidt’s Ireland squad. His performances will surely not have gone unnoticed when Schmidt picks his squad on Monday.
The Q&A in the programme asked Kilcoyne 14 questions in a hilarious ‘getting to know’ piece and some of his answers were absolutely brilliant! Turns out new Munster recruit Jaco Taute is the sportsperson he admires most. Why? Because he played on a with a bursted freakin’ testicle. Fair enough.
It’s his final answer however, that had us in stitches. When asked what he would like to do when he’s finished playing rugby, Kilcoyne said:
“Become CEO of Munster Rugby and own my own nightclub or restaurant while moonlighting as Mayor of Limerick.”
Absolutely brilliant! Check out the full Q&A below.
