Dave Kilcoyne Hits Back At Paul Kimmage’s Attack On Munster Fans & CJ Stander

Will he accept the invitation?

Paul Kimmage continued his one-man crusade against CJ Stander yesterday with an attack on Munster fans. The outspoken sports journalist has made it known on several occasions, that he’s not fan of Stander and the fact that he’s been able to play for Ireland through the residency rule.

The three-year rule, which is currently under review, is up for debate- but the fact that Kimmage is a bit of a tool that targets vocal fan bases just to cause controversy is not.

His latest attack saw him compare Munster fans to Lance Armstrong followers. He stated that he used to think that the disgraced cyclists fans were idiots, but they are apparently nothing compared to “these one-eyed Munster tools.”

Kimmage was responding to a CJ Stander graphic we created, that was brought to his attention by a Twitter user, who posed the question “Do you want to change your statement?”

We’re advocates of the rule being changed to at least five years, but there’s absolutely no need for Kimmage and his comments, and it seems Munster star Dave Kilcoyne agrees.
