All Blacks legend Dan Carter has issued a statement amid reports he was caught drink driving by police.
The Racing 92 playmaker was reportedly two times over the legal limit after being stopped in Paris by local police.
In his statement, Carter admits to the offence and says there is no excuse for his actions.
Carter says he made a massive error of judgement and let his club down.
The former World Player of the Year added that he’s glad no one was hurt and will not let the court process run its course and face the consequences.
