Bristol Bears continued their excellent recent run of form yesterday with a last-gasp 26-24 win over Northampton Saints in the Gallagher Premiership.
Last year’s Championship winners are now just four points off a top six finish ahead of next week’s visit of relegation threatened Worcester Warriors, and could very well end up in the Champions Cup next season.
Pat Lam’s men were trailing right up until the death before a bizarre series of infringements saw Northampton down to 11 men after picking up four yellow cards.
