Before the start of the Six Nations, Ireland hadn’t received a red card in over 40 years in the championship – now they have two in one tournament.
Following Peter O’Mahony’s early red against Wales in the opening round, Ireland’s Bundee Aki has seen red for a hit on England number eight Billy Vunipola that you may or may not agree with it.
The Saracens man started very low and while Aki wrapped and there looked to be very little intent – he did make contact with Vunipola’s head, injuring the back-row in the process.
