Brian O’Driscoll just loves getting one over on Austin Healey.
The pair famously got in a bit of a scrap while on tour with the British & Irish Lions back in 2001, with O’Driscoll apparently knocking the former England scrumhalf out.
Healey has been taunted ever since, even though he denies it ever happens. It’s also safe to say that he’s a bit of an arrogant twat at the best of times, so when an opportunity arises to point an laugh at his misfortunes, it’s difficult to pass it up.
It’s safe to say that England were favourites before yesterday’s game, and rightly so, but it was always going to be a very close affair. Most pundits agreed.
Healey however, in typical fashion predicted that England would maul Ireland by 21 points. Brian O’Driscoll couldn’t resist…
