Electric.
Jordan Larmour is the name on everyone’s lips after an incredible festive period for Leinster. The eastern province won all of their inter-provincial games, with Larmour stealing the show against Munster and Ulster.
His try of the season contender at Thomond Park made everyone take notice, but it was his incredible two-try, man of the match display against Ulster that has the whole of Ireland waxing lyrical over the Leinster prodigy.
The question now remains, at just 20 years-of-age, and with a just a handful of game under his belt, is it too soon for Joe Schmidt to call him up to his Six Nations squad? Yes according to former Ireland and Leinster captain Brian O’Driscoll.
“Personally I think it’s too soon. He’s extremely exciting with ball in hand but International Rugby is cruel at exposing defensive inexperience. Time is on his side.” O’Driscoll wrote on Twitter.
