Brian O’Driscoll is a Darren Sweetnam fan.
The Munster winger recently returned to action after an injury lay-off and looks as if he hasn’t missed a beat.
The former Cork GAA star has been one of Irish Rugby’s surprise packages this season, becoming a permanent fixture in the Munster starting line-up, and former Ireland captain Brian O’Driscoll reckons his form will not have gone unnoticed.
The 23-year-old topped the metres made charts as he gained 65 metres with seven carries which included two clean line breaks in Munster’s win over Ospreys last night, playing a huge role in what was to be the deciding try by Dave Kilcoyne.
According to Brian O’Driscoll, Sweetnam will be capped by the end of the year.
Big fan of Darren Sweetnam. Think he'll be capped by the end of the year.
