Former England hooker and BBC rugby pundit Brian Moore suffered a heart attack overnight.
The 64 times capped front-row tweeted from St George’s hospital in London that he was in intensive care. Moore won his 64 caps for England between 1987 – 1995 and he also featured on two British & Irish Lions tours.
These days he is better know for his outspoken punditry and larger than life character. If Brian Moore disagrees with you, he’ll let you know, and he’s damn sure not afraid to speak his mind regardless of how controversial he may be.
As this is starting to get out- I'm in ICU of St George's having suffered heart attack. Thanks to the professionals who saved my life.

That being said there’s plenty people out there that aren’t too fond of his punditry, but at the end of the day the rugby world will always put that aside when things get serious, and the last few hours have been a testament to that.
@brianmoore666 glad your ok now and get well soon my friend.

In typical Moore fashion however, he’s responded to the overwhelming reaction to his heart attack with a simply brilliant tweet.
I'm trying to work out whether nearly 5K of likes over the news I've had a heart attack is sympathy or schadenfreude.
