Can Gatland pull off another upset?
As expected Warren Gatland has made sweeping changes to his Wale team for this weekend’s clash with world champions New Zealand at the Principality Stadium.
A hugely inexperiences Welsh side struggled against Georgia this past weekend, but Gatland has now recalled his Test stars for the visit of Steve Hansen’s mighty All Blacks.
Jamie Roberts will not start at 13 in place of the injured Jonathan Davies as some predicted, instead Scott Williams will partner Owen Williams in the centre, with Roberts on the bench.
Rhys Webb is retained from last week after making a successful return from injury and will partner Dan Biggar. Hallam Amos meanwhile will replace the injured Liam Williams.
Wales team: 15. Leigh Halfpenny, 14. Steff Evans, 13. Scott Williams, 12. Owen Williams, 11. Hallam Amos, 10. Dan Biggar, 9. Rhys Webb, 1. Rob Evans, 2. Ken Owens, 3. Tomas Francis, 4. Jake Ball, 5. Alun Wyn Jones, 6. Aaron Shingler, 7. Josh Navidi, 8. Taulupe Faletau
Replacements: Gareth Davies, Jamie Roberts, Rhys Priestland, Cory Hill, Kristian Dacey, Leon Brown, Justin Tipuric, Wyn Jones
