Tonight’s Guinness PRO12 Rugby Round 9 fixture between Ulster Rugby Official and Zebre has been postponed.
Referee Craig Evans deemed the surface unplayable due to certain areas of the pitch being frozen.
Further details on the new fixture date will be announced in due course.
Ulster Rugby have confirmed that all supporters should retain their tickets as they will be valid for the rearranged game.
The Irish province released the following statement.
This evening’s Guinness PRO12 fixture between Ulster and Zebre has been postponed after a late decision by the referee.
Both teams were eager for the game to proceed but the surface was deemed unplayable due to certain areas of the pitch being frozen.
Ulster Rugby will work with PRO12 Rugby and Zebre Rugby to reschedule the fixture and a new date will be announced in due course.
Supporters should retain their tickets as they will be valid for the rearranged game.
Two other Irish province’s are set for action tonight also with Leinster and Connacht’s both going ahead.
