Dragons revolution.
Dragons boss Bernard Jackman has pulled off another huge signing, by raiding Gloucester for another one of their Wales and Lions internationals, with Richard Hibbard set to join the Welsh region at the end of the season.
Hibbard, who toured with the British and Irish Lions to Australia back in 2013, has signed a three-year deal with the Welsh side. The hooker has represented Wales on 38 occasions, and will add a huge amount of experience to Jackman’s pack.
“Finishing my career in Wales is important to me,” said Hibbard.
“Though this opportunity has probably come a little sooner than I expected.”
Hibbard will be joined at the Dragons next season by current teammate Ross Moriarty, along with a string of Welsh internationals. Jackman is also hoping he can convince George North to sign for the Dragons.
