Baa Baas.

Famous touring side the Barbarians will return to free-to-air television with the BBC for the first time since 2009 when they face Argentina in the Killik Cup match at Twickenham this coming December.

The game will be televised to a widespread free-to-air rugby audience on BBC Two on Saturday, December 1.

Barbarians Chairman John Spencer said:

“We’re delighted to be renewing our partnership with the BBC for this match which gives us the chance to showcase the excitement and enjoyment for which the Barbarians are famous.

“It’s a reflection of the enduring relevance and status of the club and we’re sure it will help us connect with a new generation of fans.”

The first batch of players for the game have already been announced with the likes of Will Genia and Eben Etzebeth set to wearing the famous black and white hoops. Springboks boss Rassie Erasmus has also been named as the Barbarians’ head coach.
