The Tullow Tank is tearing it up on tour.
Sean O’Brien has arguably been one the Lions best players on tour this summer, making his presence felt in a number of high-profile games. The Irishman has shone in the Test arena and played a huge role in the pivotal wins over the Crusaders and Maori All Blacks.
The Leinster back-row has hit a remarkable run of form when you consider how little rugby he had under his belt coming into the tour. He’s also one of the few players over here in New Zealand that the Kiwi’s are not afraid to praise. From what I’ve heard, O’Brien is highly rated by the fans, turns out the All Blacks rate him rather highly too.
“The way he goes about his work is very impressive, he’s very competitive, he gets through a heck of a lot and he’s a physical player, so he’s been massive for them this tour,” Cane told The42
All the Lions need is one more big shift from the Irishman. Hopefully he’ll once again cause the All Blacks plenty of problems.
