The All Blacks are currently in the midst of a potential injury crisis.
The world champions will be sweating on the fitness of Nehe Milner-Skudder Ben Smith, Jerome Kaino, Dane Coles and Kieran Read among others as things stand, with some big games still to be played in Super Rugby before they head to camp.
Legendary All Black Sean Fitzpatrick has had a go at picking his XV based on the players that may be available to Steve Hansen, and he reckons the Barrett brothers show could do the job against the Lions.
It just goes to show if some of their star players fail to return to fitness in time, the All Blacks still have some serious talent at their disposal. Israel Dagg has also just returned to rugby after a lengthy spell on the sidelines and should be fit for the series. You’ve also got the likes of Malakai Fekitoa and TJ Perenara hitting form and at Hansen’s disposal.
