Leinster prop Cian Healy is set to reach an incredible European milestone this weekend and make Champions Cup history.

The loosehead prop has been named on the bench for Leinster’s Investec Champions Cup semi-final clash with Northampton Saints.

Should Healy come off the bench he will overtake Munster’s Ronan O’Gara for the all-time Champions Cup appearance record.

He’s currently tied with O’Gara on 110 games and will reach the summit should he come on.

An incredible achievement for a man who not that long ago was almost forced to retire from the game.
