Toulouse kept the pressure on Leinster this evening, securing a 42-27 bonus-point win over Wasps in France to give them a 7-point lead over Leinster in Pool 1 ahead of their clash with Bath shortly.
The four-time champions have a 100% record in the Champions Cup this season after claiming a famous scalp over Leinster back in October and look like potential dark horses to win the tournament outright.
Nigel Owens was the man in charge of their game today and once again proved why he’s still one of the very best referees around. With the clock in red, the Welshman defused an off the ball incident, letting the two players involved they will not “spoil” what was an excellent game of rugby.
