The standard of tries in Super Rugby this season is something else.
The Hurricanes and the Brumbies went at it this morning in a thrilling clash. The Australian franchise gave their New Zealand counterparts a right run for their money in the first-half,
leading 21-14 at the break.
The Canes however, led by Beaduen Barrett, turned it on in the second-half- scoring an incredible 42 unanswered points to go 7 from 8 this season in a 56-21 win.
The Brumbies can at least look back on what was one of the tries of the season, in a brilliant end-to-end score, finished by Joe Powell. It took the Australian side just 35 seconds and 11 passes after Barrett’s restart to cross the line and dot down.
