Wasps are reportedly trying to bring in Australian international utility back Kurtley Beale for next season, according to Sky Sports.
Last August the 27-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Australian Rugby Union, which was expected to keep him with Australia and the Waratahs until 2017. However, Wasps hope Beale will line up alongside his friend and former Melbourne Rebels team-mate Danny Cipriani in a formidable backline at the Ricoh Arena in the autumn.
The duo could team with existing stars such as Elliot Daly, Joe Simpson and Christian Wade to give Wasps one of the most dynamic back-lines in Europe next season. Beale is one of the most versatile players in world rugby and has played fly-half, centre, wing and full-back for the Wallabies.
