Wasps have reportedly paid a visit to South Africa to continue talks with Springbok centre Juan de Jongh.
The Premiership side are currently looking for a replacement for the outgoing Kurtley Beale, who is heading back to Australia after just one season with the Coventry based outfit.
The Rugby Paper are reporting that de Jongh is very close to signing a deal with Dai Young’s side ahead of next season. He has made it no secret in recent weeks that a move to England would excite him.
The Olympic bronze medallist is primarily an inside centre, but can play in other positions across the backline, similar to Beale.
