Epic stuff.
Wallabies fullback Israel Folau sent a tweet out yesterday stating that he does not condone same sex marriage, just one day after the Wallabies pledged their support for the yes vote in the Australian postal survey.
The 28-year-old Waratahs star is a devout Christian, who grew up as a Mormon before leaving to join a smaller church in 2011. In his tweet on Wednesday he said he loves and respects everyone for their opinions but that he would not support same-sex marriage.
I love and respect all people for who they are and their opinions. but personally, I will not support gay marriage.

He’s caused a bit of a stir on social media as a result, with a number of people upset with this stance including Welsh legend Gareth Thomas. The former Lions fullback is the first professional rugby player to come out as openly gay, and it’s safe to say – he’s far from impressed with Folau.
