Netflix are set to launch their highly-anticipated Six Nations series this week but as far as rugby documentaries are concerned – there is one in particular that has set a standard above all others.

Chasing the Sun followed the Springboks in the build-up to and during their successful Rugby World Cup campaign back in 2019 and is highly regarded as one of the best sporting documentaries ever produced.

The SuperSport production gave us some of the most incredible moments we’ve ever seen in rugby as Rassie Erasmus and Jacques Nienaber completely transformed South African Rugby to make them world-beating giants once again.

They made it back-to-back World Cup wins in France last year and the good news is we’re now getting Chasing the Sun 2 as a result. The series is set to launch in South Africa in March of this year and we’ve even been treated with a trailer to get us pumped.
