Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is ready to answer New Zealand Sevens’ injury crisis after taking up an offer from Sonny Bill Williams via Twitter.
The Rock revealed on Twitter last week that he played rugby “as a kid” when he lived in New Zealand. He followed that up saying it was the “toughest sport” he’d ever played.
Yup I played rugby as a kid when I lived in New Zealand. Toughest sport I’ve ever done. #Respect https://t.co/OatnqgXmxe

With the New Zealand Sevens side currently in the midst of an injury crisis, Williams tweeted Johnson asking if he could come to their rescue and The Rock is ready to come running.
