Best of the best.
The 2023 Rugby World Cup in France came to an end over the weekend after two months of some truly fantastic rugby.
Ireland came into the tournament as one of the leading favourites alongside the hosts, but it was the Springboks who emerged victorious as they claimed a second successive Webb Ellis trophy after defeating New Zealand in the final.
But the Irish are well represented in the Team of the Tournament, according to stats experts, Opta.
Three of Andy Farrell’s side have made the cut with Bundee Aki, Garry Ringrose, and Tadhg Beirne all selected with just one South African in Steven Kitshoff making the final XV, perhaps showing just how much of a team effort their win was.
