On the move.
Springbok star Pat Lambie has reportedly asked to be released early from his contract with the South African Rugby Union.
The talented outhalf wants to join Racing 92 in Paris according to Netwerk 24, with the French giants apparently wanting him to make the move as soon as possible.
Lambie has been battling issues with concussion ever since suffering a bad bang while playing against Ireland, that resulted in CJ Stander seeing red. He has however, come out and insisted he has no plans to retire.
The 26-year-old has played 56 tests for the Springboks, scoring 153 points. As the regular goal kicker for the Sharks, he’s also racked up 757 points in 71 Super Rugby games. He will be still eligible for the national side, having reached the threshold.
