Welcome.
Springboks captain Siya Kolisi has had his say on Owen Farrell’s potential move to Racing 92 – and the flanker has welcomed the idea of the former England captain moving to France at the end of the season.
Kolisi moved to Racing following South Africa’s Rugby World Cup win after signing a big money deal with the French giants last year and has gotten off to an excellent start in Paris.
Farrell recently stood down from England duty and will not be available for selection ahead of the Six Nations and Kolisi is a huge fan of the playmaker.
The pair have battled each other many times in the Test arena but the Boks skipper says he would love to play alongside the Englishman.
“I hope he f***ing comes. I hope he does,” Kolisi told The Big Jim Show.
“I love Owen; I really like him. I speak to him every now and then.
“I don’t understand why people don’t like him; I just think he’s f***ing competitive, which is what you want.
“It’d be great for us if he could come. He’s really a good leader, I think he’s very competitive and he’s just misunderstood.”
