Come home.
Scott Robertson is yet to take charge of a game for the All Blacks but he has been quietly working behind the scenes since taking charge of New Zealand late last year.
He has made it clear that he will be making plenty of changes to New Zealand Rugby, including trying to convince the union to loosen their eligibility rules surrounding overseas players.
In the meantime according to a New Zealand Herald report, Robertson has approached legendary All Blakcs lock Sam Whitelock, who turns 36 in October, about returning from France following his recent exit.
Whitelock left New Zealand after the World Cup last year, signing a one-year deal with Top 14 outfit Pau, with an option to extend for a second.
Whether or not a deal can be reached to bring him home remains to be seen, but it’s clear Robertson wants him back.
