Favourites.
The 2023 Rugby World Cup has certainly lived up to expectations so far, exceeding them in most cases, as we edge ever closer to crowning the champions.
Things really kicked into gear on Saturday as the top two sides in the world went toe-to-toe in a mammoth clash in Pool B, with the Irish edging out the reigning champions 13-8.
But just how much of an impact has that huge win over Ireland had on the race to be crowned 2023 Rugby World Cup champions?
Quite a lot, according to the bookies…
A couple of weeks back, Ireland could be backed at as high as 6/1 to win the Webb Ellis Cup, but they’re now joint favourites, according to Oddschecker, and can now be got as at as little as 3/1 alongside the Springboks.
Tournament hosts France are the third favourites at 7/2 with most bookies, with New Zealand coming in at 4/1 and England way out at 10/1.
Who do you think will be crowned champions next month?
