Needless.
Toulouse fullback Thomas Ramos could be in trouble for what can only be described as a “needless petulant attack” on Marcus Smith during the latter stages of their Champions Cup tie at the weekend.
Ramos can be seen driving his forearm into the Harlequins playmaker on the ground before grabbing him by the head and face and driving him into the grass in a completely reckless and shocking bit of behaviour.
The incident wasn’t picked up by the match officials on the day but may very well be picked up by the citing commission with many online condemning the France international’s actions.
Toulouse emerged victorious on the night to make it two from two but the action of Ramos have become the biggest talking point in the aftermath.
What a nice person Ramos is. Not even looked at by ref or TMO👍 #HARvTOU pic.twitter.com/VUJYDEW5Ub
