Au Revoir.
Top 14 giants Racing 92 have sacked Fiji international lock Leone Nakarawa, an official statement has confirmed.
The former European Player of the Year has long been one of the club’s best players but upset the Parisian side when he returned late to his duties following the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
Racing said his actions demonstrated “a total lack of team spirit and marked insubordination.”
They also say that they were unable to contact him during his two-week absence and that “the team is the only star” while accusing him “abandoning his post.”
They also claim that “this is not the first time” he has let the club down.
Nakarawa likely won’t be without a club for long given his talent, with Sale boss Steve Diamond recently admitting they have held talks with the Fijian.
