Opening round.
Ireland get their 2025 Six Nations campaign underway this weekend against England at the Aviva Stadium and interim head coach Simon Easterby has some pick calls to make.
Easterby has a near-clean bill of health with Tadhg Furlong the only key player set to miss out after suffering a recurrence of a calf strain in training on Saturday.
The biggest call Easterby will have to make will be at fly-half, with Munster’s Jack Crowley and Leinster’s Sam Prendergast set to battle it out for the coveted 10 jersey.
Midfield is another key area Easterby will have to figure out with Bundee Aki, Robbie Henshaw, and Garry Ringrose set to battle it out for the two spots.
Here’s the team we’d reckon Ireland should go with.
