Paddy Jackson has made his first public appearance since his hugely publicised Belfast Rape Trial in a welcome video for his new club USA Perpignan.

The former Ireland and Ulster outhalf had his contract revoked by the IRFU, along with teammate Stuart Olding, despite both players being declared not guilty by a jury.

Jackson has signed a two-year deal with the newly-promoted Top 14 side as he looks to get his career back on track. The 26-year-old could be just what the former giants need to stay in the division.

In a video posted to Perpignan’s Twitter page, Jackson has already been working on his French as he introduces himself to his new club.
