Sale bound?
Multiple reports last week suggested that both Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding have held talks about a potential move to Premiership side Sale Sharks.
Steve Diamond’s side are no strangers to signings ‘controversial’ players having signed James O’Connor from Toulon over the summer after his cocaine arrest, and Marland Yarde after his very public fall out with Harlequins. As well as Denny Solomona while he was still under contract.
Jackson and Olding were sacked by the IRFU and Ulster Rugby earlier this month, with a number of French and English clubs believed to be interested in their services.
Rugby transfer specialist Neil Fissler says he is “trying to confirm” Jackson has indeed agreed terms with Sale, with Olding considering an offer to join him. More on this as it comes in.
