On the move.
Former England captain Owen Farrell is set to leave lifelong club Saracens at the end of the season having signed a deal with French giants Racing 92.
The move was announced not long after Farrell revealed that he would be taking a break from international rugby, missing the 2024 Six Nations Championship.
Racing are no strangers when it comes to spending big on marquee signings, signing the likes of Johnny Sexton, Dan Carter, and Finn Russell over the years, and Springboks captain Siya Kolisi more recently.
But Farrell will actually be taking a pay cut at the Parisian side, according to L’Equipe, having been one of two marquee players at Saracens.
His current deal is reportedly worth around £1m-a-season, but he is set to earn just £685k-a-season at Racing.
