Taking a break.
England captain Owen Farrell has walked away from international rugby and is set to take a break from the Test arena, in staggering news confirmed today by his club Saracens.
The club says Farrell has decided to take a break from England and international rugby in order to “prioritise his and his family’s mental well-being.”
The move means he will not be available for the 2024 Guinness Six Nations.
He will, however, continue to play for Saracens and captain the club in the Gallagher Premiership.
As of yet, Farrell himself is yet to release a statement.
