Shocking.
Owen Farrell could be set for a lengthy ban following yet another dangerous shoulder shot to the head as Saracens took on Gloucester in the Champions Cup tonight.
The England international somehow escaped punishment on the night after clearly making contact with the head of Gloucester forward Jack Clement, with both the referee and the TMO failing to spot the incident.
To make matters even worse for Gloucester fans, Farrell slotted over a match-winning in the final seconds of the game, just minutes after the incident, to secure Saracens a huge win at Kingsholm, and move 14 points clear at the Premiership summit.
No doubt the incident will be picked up by the citing commission, with Farrell facing an anxious wait ahead of some huge Champions Cup fixtures with Sarries, as well as the Six Nations with England looming.
