Leinster have dismissed rumours that Girvan Demspey won’t be part of their backroom team next season.
The former Ireland fullback is in ‘advanced talks’ with French side Bordeaux Begles according to reports in France, but Leinster believe he will very much be a part of their team come next season.
Ruaidhri O’Connor is reporting that the assistant coach has agreed to remain with his home province for at least another season. Dempsey has been part of Leo Cullen’s backroom team for the past two seasons, having been promoted from his role as Academy manager.
Leinster are expected to issue a release on the future of their management team in the coming days, with both Leo Cullen and Stuart Lancaster expected to sign new deal with the eastern province.
