Ireland secured a second consecutive bonus point victory today at Wembley against Romania but the win came with some potentially worrying injuries to Rob Kearney & Keith Earls.
Kearney landed awkwardly after his try & Keith Earls took a blow to the head in the second-half – both were subsequently substituted.
Schmidt on Rob Kearney – “Through his glut and his hip, it might of been when his knee hit the ground..he jarred himself up a bit. He will be assessed the next 24-48 hours.”
On Keith Earls – “Keith Earls had a HIA and passed it.”
Let’s hope both will recover in time for the business end of the pool games versus Italy & France.
