Record breakers.
Ireland got their 2024 Six Nations campaign off to the perfect start last night with a thumping win over France at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille.
The men in green ran in five tries in a thumping 38-17 win over Les Blues with Jamison Gibson-Park, Tadhg Beirne, Calvin Nash, Dan Sheehan, and Ronan Kelleher all getting on the scoresheet.
The result is a record win for Ireland over France at any venue with Ireland’s previous record win over France (7 points) – coming way back in 1948.
