Turning point.
Saracens were crowned European champions for the third time yesterday thanks to a 20-10 win over Leinster at St. James’ Park.
The Irish province found themselves 10-0 up inside the first 30 minutes, but Sarries struck back just before the break as a result of some poor game management by the defending champions.
But it was a moment of brilliance from Liam Williams not long after half-time that proved to be the turning point in the game. Leinster found themselves just metres from Saracens’ line and looked certain to score, but an incredible tackle from Williams, followed by an immediate perfectly-time jackal resulted in a game-changing turnover.
Check it out below. Simply sensational from the Welshman. What a player.
