Farrell doubt.
England playmaker Owen Farrell once again missed training on Tuesday, and is facing a battle to be fit in time for their crucial Six Nations clash with Scotland on Saturday evening.
The European Player of the Year injured his lower leg in the 12-6 win over Wales two weeks, and has been unable to fully train ever since.
Should the Saracens man be unable to recover in time for the Calcutta Cup clash, Jones would likely be forced to move his game plan away from having a second playmaker, and look for Ben Te’o to slot in at inside centre.
England however, say they are confident Farrell will be passed fit in time. But he does remain a serious doubt.
Scotland meanwhile, have gone with the same starting line-up that defeated France a couple of weeks ago.
