Here’s The Probable Ireland XV That Will Take On Wales This Weekend

Full strength.

Ireland take on Wales at the Aviva Stadium this weekend in their final World Cup warm-up game before they fly out to Japan.

The men in green got their preparations back on track last Saturday with a much-needed win in Cardiff, but this weekend’s clash will be a completely different test.

Wales are expected to go almost full strength for the clash, as are Ireland, with Saturday’s clash in Dublin expected to give us a real indication of where both sides are heading into the World Cup.

Johnny Sexton, Robbie Henshaw and Keith Earls are all set for their first minutes of the warm-up campaign, and Ireland will need frontline players like them to hit some form before their pool opener against Scotland.

A number of players that missed last week are also set to return and will want to right their wrongs from the record defeat to England. Here’s the ‘probable’ team for Saturday according to Gerry Thornley in The Irish Times.
