All guns blazing.
The Lions suffered another disappoiting tour defeat this morning at the hands of the Highlanders. Gatland’s men looked impressive at times and finally starting scoring some tries with Jonathan Joseph, Tommy Seymour and Sam Warburton all grabbing five pointers. But it’s a game they really should of closed out and won.
Looking at this performance, along with the Blues loss and then comparing it to Saturday’s heroics against the Crusaders, a huge gap between the midweek and Test players is beginning to form.
That being said, here’s the team Gatland needs to put out against the Maori All Blacks on Saturday. There’s just one more game after this, before they take on the All Blacks, leaving Gatland no choice but to give his Test team, or close enough to it, a run out.
